As a certified Sound Horsekeeping farm we are committed to protecting clean water through sustainable land management. We process and compost all of our manure here on site. Occasionally, we have completed product to share with our neighbors. Check back often for our next available pick up date. Click on the “Reserve Now” button above to email our team. Based on your requested time and load amount we will assign you a pick up window.

Composting manure speeds up the natural decomposition process transforming a potential liability into a reusable resource. If done properly you reduce waste volume, kill parasite eggs and larvae, and destroy weed seeds, resulting in a dark, rich, earthy product similar to potting soil.

STEP 1: Mix and stack manure, soiled hay, grass clippings, and natural bedding.

*Extract excess moisture for Compost Tea
STEP 2: Aerate, sort, and remix to maximize processing time/efficiency
